Traditionally the Society has hosted its annual winter ‘Worcester’ Tournament on one of the middle Sundays in December. For years this was shot at The Perdiswell Leisure Centre, with Record Status for Worcesterboth Single and Double Worcester rounds. However the escalating cost of the hall forced the Society to relocate the event: for a few years to Blessed Edward’s School in Battenhall and, in 2008, to The Royal Grammar School. The hall is smaller than Perdiswell, only accommodating 14 bosses, but the lighting and other facilities are excellent, making this a truly first-class venue.

The tournament attracts a field of 50+ archers from all over the country. Amongst several National Records set at this event in recent years was the Ladies’ Recurve taken by Naomi Foulkard in 2003.
